AKC Limited Registration

Our puppies are sold with limited AKC registration. The AKC allows breeders to sell puppies with limited registration as pets. Limited registration means the dog is registered, but no litters produced by that dog are eligible for registration. Limited registration can be lifted; however, any potential breeding stock should exhibit qualities that improve the breed. 

Suppose you want to show your dog or compete in other AKC competitions with the hope of breeding one day. In that case, we will require references from other known breeders and/or consider a co-ownership until the dog has passed its health clearances and you have made progress toward an AKC title. 

Note: We reserve the right to the first pick of each gender from each litter for our breeding program. Show-quality pups are reserved for show homes.
