Available Puppies
We have puppies! Gidget and Tater welcomed 10 healthy puppies on March 17, 2026 (she had five of each gender!).
Tater is, literally, a very "handsome stud.: In addition to being extremely gorgeous, Tater, officially "CH Zumbro Forever's Somethin' Bad," emboddies the classic, loving Golden Retriever temperament that defines the breed. He is as sweet as they come. Tater is pictured at left.
Like Tater, Gidget, "Dal-Rhe Angels of Gold Lil' Girl Big Ideas," is an amazingly affectionate girl who likes everyone she meets. She has a special affinity to kids of any age and loves to play nanny with our grandkids. You can see and Gidget on our Fur Family page.
Puppies from this litter should make excellent family dogs, as well as being great candidates for therapy work, obedience, hunt tests, and other performance events.

Puppy Selection Process
Every breeder has their own way of placing puppies. Some allow families to choose in the order deposits are received. While that may feel fair, it doesn’t always consider the unique temperament, confidence, trainability, sound sensitivity, or activity level of each puppy.
At Dal‑Rhe Goldens, we take a more thoughtful, personalized approach—one that ensures each puppy is matched with the home where they will truly thrive.
A thoughtful match benefits everyone. For example:
- A sound‑sensitive puppy is not ideal for a busy, noisy household.
- A mellow, easygoing puppy may be perfect for seniors.
- A dominant puppy needs an experienced owner.
- An active, outgoing puppy thrives with an active family.
- An independent, confident puppy adjusts more easily to being alone during the workday.
We always consider your preferences—but we also consider what each puppy needs to succeed.
Puppy Adoption Price
Many people ask the question, "How much are your puppies?" We understand that most of us need to consider costs. However, if that is your primary concern, our puppies are may not be a great fit for you, Pleasevist our "questions to ask" page to learn why.
That said, we are happy to answer the question. Our puppies are priced at $2600.00, depending on the litter. We do not charge a different price for males vs. females.
We ask for a $400 non-refundable deposit for those who'd like us to hold a puppy for their family. Before accepting a deposit, we ask for a completed puppy application
Note: In the best interest of the puppies, we reserve the right to deny placement if we feel, for any reason, it is not a good fit.
Available Adults
From time to time, dogs we have bred come up for re-home due to changes in people's lives. We attempt to assist in this re-homing process to find these dogs their best forever homes.
We currently have no adults available. However, if you are looking for an older pup or adult now, our network of exceptional breeders may be able to point you in the right direction. Please contact us, and we'll see if we can help!
AKC Registration
Our puppies are sold with AKC Limited Registration. This type of registration means the dog is registered with the American Kennel Club, but no litters produced by that dog are eligible for registration.
Dew Claw Policy
We do not remove dewclaws. Dewclaws are crucial to a dog's well-being and safety. The dewclaw is essentially the thumb of the dog world. Today, however, they have limited practical use in daily dog life. They help dogs hold on to bones when eating them and toys when playing. When dogs walk, their dewclaws don't touch the ground, but they provide extra traction and stabilization at high speed, especially when turning.

We have options for picking up puppy at our home, connecting in the Twin Cities metro area, and flying puppy home via commerical airlines, accompanied by one of us throughout the journey.
