AT THE TIME OF SALE
Our Resonsibility
We do everything possible to ensure you receive a healthy, socialized, and disease-free puppy. Before the puppy goes home:
We begin worming the puppies at 2 weeks of age and every two weeks until the puppies reach 8 weeks old. We also administer their first immunization. At 7-8 weeks of age, the puppies visit the veterinarian, where they receive an examination.
Once the puppy completes its health exam, the puppy can go to their new home at 8 weeks old. We will send the puppy home with a packet containing their health records and suggestions about care. We will complete the puppy's American Kennel Club (AKC) limited and microchip registration for AKC on your behalf, and the registration certificate will be mailed directly to you.
Your Resonsibility
For the protection of the buyer and seller, the buyer must agree to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian of their choice within three business days of possession to verify the puppy's state of health. This examination shall be at the buyer's expense. This initial examination is mandatory to start the Replacement Warranty. Failure to do so will void this contract and its guarantee.
If the attending veterinarian finds a life-threatening defect with the puppy, Dal-Rhe Goldens must be notified of the nature of the defect within 24 hours of the exam. Failure to do so will void this contract and its guarantee.
REPLACEMENT WARRANTY
We guarantee that every puppy will be in good health at the time of sale.*
If the puppy is found to have a life-threatening defect within the first three business days of delivery to the buyer's possession. In that case, the buyer may return the puppy (within 5 days of the purchase date and at the buyer's expense) for a replacement puppy (of equal or lesser value and the same gender) as soon as one becomes available or opt for a refund of the base price paid for the puppy, including the deposit paid.
*Note: If our veterinarian discovers a health concern with a puppy before delivery to the buyer's possession, the buyer will be notified before picking up the puppy and will be given the option to accept or decline taking ownership of the puppy after discussing available options with the breeder.\
