Angels of Gold Kenzo at Dal-Rhe (AKC Champion Pointed)

Kenzo came to us from our good friend, Lori. He's been a part of our household since he was 8 weeks old, and we adore him.

When we brought Kenzo to Dal-Rhe, our primary goal was to show him conformation and performance events, and when he reached age two and passed all of the necessary health clearances, add him to our breeding program. 

We have spent the last 18 months traveling with him, competing in shows, and sneaking in a bit of camping when we could. He's been a great house dog and travel pal (except he can be a bed hog!).

When he reached age two, we took him for his OFA testing. The core tests are an OFA eye exam, a cardiac exam by a board-certified cardiologist, and OFA hip and elbow X-rays. He passed the heart, eye, and elbow exams with flying colors. Unfortunately, he did not pass his hip X-ray. 

This news shocked us. He shows no outward signs of hip issues, has never limped, and moves like a dream. He runs, plays, and swims with our other dogs. He continues to be symptom-free but cannot be used as a stud dog.

As hard as this will be, we have decided to place Kenzo in a loving family home. He's a very happy, energetic fellow. He's good in the house, quiet in the crate, and eager to please. He is neutered and current on vaccinations and heartworm medications.
